Junior Family joins the Adria Bikes Hotel group

We have always said it: the best way to discover the territory of Cavallino-Treporti is by pedaling and it is precisely for this reason that this year we have decided to be part of this wonderful initiative which aims to discover the territory of the upper Adriatic riding a bicycle.

Adria Bikes Hotel takes care of the cycling holiday in Eastern Venice at 360 ° and offers the best chosen specifically for cyclists and amateur cyclists, both in terms of hotels and agritourisms, and in terms of routes, so that you can spend the best time your vacation.

You just have to rent one of the bicycles that we provide together with seats and helmets for the little ones and choose one of the itineraries suggested by Adria Bike: they are sorted according to difficulty and length but also according to the landscapes and activities that can be carry out along the way, such as guided tours and tastings.

Il mondo di Bu – Cooking workshops for children in Cavallino Treporti

We are sure that those who attended at Il Mondo di Bu workshops last year still remember it very well! Young and old had a great time preparing and tasting Elena’s recipes! Could we not have invited her for next season as well?

Buu’s World is a project that aims to offer a time, rather than a space, in which children and parents can gather around a kitchen where:

– learn to cook simple dishes with your own hands
– have fun putting your hands in the dough
– love food through contact with nature
– know your story through the dishes of the heart
– recognize local products
– acquire skills in handling and using the tools suitable for recipes

The creative cuisine of Il Mondo di Bu is an opportunity to discover the importance of healthy and fun cooking, the workshops are free and are held one day a week on the terrace of the Junior Family Hotel.

Children’s activities

The 2020 children’s events have been suspended until further notice.

Since 2019 Junior Family Resort – Hotel & Apartments has an intense activities program for it’s younger guests. Workshops, kids club, and evening activities ledgy a team of professionals that we have chosen for their ethics and philosophy of life.

The program is available at the reception desk where you will be also able to sign your children up for some of the workshops.

COOKING WORKSHOPS

Elena is the CEO and owner of Il mondo di Bu By wanting to spend more quality time with her daughter she managed to turn her passion into her job and to share it with more children and their parents. Elena leads her workshops all around Italy and you can also spot her on TV on the QVC channel.

The cooking workshops take place in the afternoon once a week at the spacious Junior Family Hotel terrace. Cakes, pizzas, cookies, fruit decorations are alla made from scratch and you will take all the creations home for you afternoon snack. You will be amazed how well they can cook!

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Pedagogical workshops are offered, in which the children learn thanks to the Limosa Association to recognize the environment as a web of experience, in which the actions of all knowledge are combined.

FUN GAMES

Clown Nuvoletta and Semola will awaken your kid’s enthusiasm for forgotten games. Take the opportunity to disconnect from the internet and enjoy an evening just playing games together. This fun activity takes place a few evening per month at the Junior Family Hotel’s backyard garden.

Children and adults can play with traditional wooden games, board games, logical-mathematical games, movement games, thinking games, pinball machines and many others.

KIDS’ CLUB

Our kids’ club led by girls from Non Solo Tata is a kids’ activities program that takes place three times a week in the afternoon (weekdays only) by the Junior Family Hotel’s swimming pool. Take this opportunity to chill out for two hours while your children get to play with other children from different nationalities.

Among the different activities there are treasure hunts, art workshops, baloon art and games by the pool. The activities are led by multilingual staff.

Sport

For those who want to stay fit, Cavallino offers the possibility to practice a lots of outdoor sports. There are many tennis-courts that you can book through our Hotel’s reception, you can easily reach the famous Venice Golf Club, one of the first golf-courses in Italy, or the Jesolo Golf Club. For those who love water there are many well equipped centres scattered all along the shore which give the opportunity to practice sports like windsurfing, canoeing and renting a relaxing paddle boat. The most adventurous have the opportunity to take Venetian rowing lessons, a very unique experience. There are also riding schools, which give you the chance to ride a horse in the fields close to the lagoon. Not far from from the Hotel there is a target shooting center, a minigolf and a sporting center where you can play tennis, beach volley, padel tennis. You can also book fishing trips and scuba diving tours.
