Vogalonga

he Vogalonga is a non-competitive regatta open to all types of rowing boats and today is one of the most important Venetian events on the island.

Every year it attracts thousands of athletes from all over the world who enliven the lagoon of Venice with hundreds of boats: caorline, gondolas, mascarete but also the most international canoes, kayaks, dragon boats (sometimes you can also see some daring pedalos!).

A kind of marathon on the water without winners: all styles and disciplines are allowed and the important thing is to participate in this day that frees the lagoon from pollution and wave motion.

The route winds for over 30 km through the most beautiful places of the lagoon: participating in it is a great emotion, both for those who row and for those who stop on the banks!
